- Open Cash App on your mobile device.
- Locate the Investing tab at the bottom of the screen, represented by a small chart icon with a Bitcoin symbol next to it. Tap on this tab.
- You will be taken to the Investing page, where you can view your portfolio of stocks and cryptocurrencies.
- Scroll down to the “My Portfolio” section and locate the stock or ETF you wish to sell. Tap on the desired stock.
- You will be taken to the stock’s page, where you have the option to buy more or sell the stock. Tap the “Sell” button.
- Choose the amount of stock you’d like to sell. You can select a predetermined amount, sell your entire position, or enter a specific amount by tapping the three dots. In this example, we will sell our entire position.
- Tap “Next” and enter your four-digit Cash App pin code to authorize the transaction.

- A checkmark will appear, indicating that your sell order has been successful. Tap “Done” to complete the process.
- To view your updated cash balance, tap on the Cash tab located in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. The proceeds from your sale will now appear in your cash balance.
